Could someone teach me a card trick?

Write the words “8 of clubs” (or any card) on a small piece of paper, and fold it tightly.
Tell your friend, “Do you know you are a physic? I thought of a card, and wrote it on this piece of paper.” Give them the folded paper.
Then put 5 cards on the table face up (include the card you wrote on the paper).
Ask your friend to pick a card. No matter WHAT card they chose, make any excuse to eliminate it. (ok, lets move that card out of the way - or I knew you would know it wasn’t that card - etc.)
Until they chose your card. When they do, say “Open the paper”.
Then say, “How did you do that! You must be a psycih!”
This one is better: You’ll need a partner in crime.
Put a bunch of cards face up on a table. You leave the room. Your friend tells your victim. “Choose ANY card on the table”. When you come back in the room, your friend will point to a card, but his THUMB will point to the card the victim picked. NOW you know what the card is. So your friend can point to ANY card, and you will say “No that’s not it…no thats not it, until he points to the REAL card.
They will be amazed.
Get a deck that has all As, tell them to pick a card, shuffle the deck, and what’s this? an As!
Not over a computer, but, if you check your public library the books on magic should be in 793.6 or there abouts. Now, if you live in a major city you can find a magic store in the yellow pages. They can put you in touch with the Society of American Magicians (SAM) and/or the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM). Either of these organizations will be able to assist you in learning enough to become a full time professional magician, if you so desire. The magic shop will show you what they have and, (if you purchase a trick) they will be very happy to work with you till you do it right. You may also want to pick up some books on coin magic or cigarette magic.
The one cigarette trick I do is to discourage smoking. I take a lit cigarette and ball up a persons fist. Then I take the cigarette and rub the filter end, (twisting), into the back of their hand. After doing this for 15 seconds or so I have them turn their hand over and open their hand: there on the palm is a small circle of the cigarette ash. I explain that this is how cigarettes effect their lungs, only worse. Its quite effective.
No, I can NOT tell you how its done.
