Is it tacky to place a business card in a trick or treat bag ?

Yea, kinda. I mean, the kids won’t know what it is for.
And I would feel bad for someone to spend all that money printing out business cards that will end up in the trash or on the street. Kids just want candy.
Heck no it’s not tacky. It’s a dog eat dog world out there. Get in all the advertising you can anyway you can i say. the kids won’t give a crap as long as you feed them

Well in my point of view I would think that yes it would be on the tacky side. This is for kids, I can understand where you are coming from by wanting to market your business. But there are other ways to do so. You could post one of you cards on a bulletin board at a laundry mat or at a grocery store.

Yes I think it is. You wouldn’t give a present or money to a charity along with a business card. I hope.
dont give it to the kids just give it to the ppl or adults that come with the kids!
This is very tacky. Although kids have their own money, even if you literally sell candy, the card will get tossed immediately by the child or given to the parents who would likely take offense that there is a business card in the trick or treat bag. I wouldn’t do it if I were you.
Yes. When you give a kid stuff for trick or treat, it should be for them and not their folks.
I would think it was tactless if I found a business card in my kid’s bag.
I worked at a company last year that handed out satsuma oranges and we painted them to look like jack-o-lanterns and we didn’t put our name on them or anything, but parents were saying “thank you” to use for not just handing out candy like everyone else, and we found a lot of those parents came back to check us out later during the holiday season, saying there came back because we did things different.
Kids love candies,so not a good idea.
