Does anyone know the name of this magic trick toy?

When I was a kid in the early/mid 1990’s I had some little magic trick toys. You could get them at like Kmart and toy stores. They usually came in a purple box. One type I remember was one my sister had where you put a shoe lace through a little plastic thing and it gave the illusion it was cut and then went back to normal.
