My friend was showing me a card trick and he dealt a 4×4 row of cards and then he told me to pick a card in my mind and then i told him, then he picked the cards back up and asked me again, he picked them back up and then he did it again, then he put the cards into piles of four upside down and he told me to pick two, he took those two away, then he told me to pick one and then he took it away so i was left with one pile, then he told me to pick two cards and he took them away then i had two cards left and he told me to pick one, he took it away, then he flipped the last card over and that was the card i picked in me head! Then he did it again, even after i shuffled the cards, and to be smart after i shuffled them he dealt three cards and told me to pick a card, and that was the card i picked!!!!!!! HOW DID HE DO THAT?!?!?!?!!?! BLEEPING MAGICIAN!

You start by shuffling the deck as much as you want. Then you cut the deck in half and choose a card from the bottom pile. Memorize your card and then put in back. Then put the deck together and cut it into thirds. Then the magician takes the deck and finds your card.

Please help. I saw this trick done like 4 times and still can’t figure it out. Best answer and major props if you figure it out.

In the “burning knowledge” trick the ‘magician’ has you pick a card and write it down on a piece of paper. The ‘magician’ burns the paper and rubs the ashes on your arm. Somehow, the ashes are in the shape of your card, like the suit and number (ex. 9?). I really want to learn how to do this, please tell me somebody. I’ve tried to find the answer, I just can’t. Hopefully there’s a magician on here that can help me..

It showed the magician had loads of random cards facedown on a table and he ask a lady to point to a card he said. He put the card she pointed to to one side and wrote down the card he told her to find. He continued to ask her to find certain cards.

At the end they went through the list and the cards and the lady had pointed to the correct cards in the same order as the list made.
